It is easy sometimes to keep looking for tragedies, disasters and problems each day, and fall into deep depression and frustration; and even fear. It is easy to keep looking for the demons around every corner rather than the victory God promises us. But we must remember that God promises are more real and more true than what we see or experience today.
It is our faith that fuel God and activate his promise, as well as encourage God to act on our behalf.
God has promised us abundant life in return for our service and loyalty to Him.
Every where in the Scriptures, victory is evident. In every circumstance, once you are on God’s side there is IMMINENT VICTORY recognize that there can be no victory without a fight. So if you are going through a struggle, then stop worrying right now and rejoice because you are on your way to victory.
Philippians 4: 4-7
4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Remember Job lost so much, but as he came to realize who God was, and is to him, his whole perspective and understanding changed. And so did his circumstances. God blessed him even greater the second time around and he got double for his trouble.
Remember Hannah and Penninah, and how Hannah became victorious after his struggle with Penninah.
Remember Jacob and Laban. Jacob was mistreated and deceived by Laban. Yet he became fathers of the twelve tribes.
Remember Ruth, an outsider with no status, and no family. She was in a period of famine. She was gleaning in the field of others. She struggled, but yet she became mother of royal lineage. Kings came from her lineage.
Remember Jesus and David.
Now look at your own circumstances and your struggles and know that the God you serve is the same God yesterday, today and forever, who gave these persons the victory and they believed and served Him.
He will give you and I the victory today.
Therefore rejoice and thank God right now for your victory
