ROMI Prophetic Gathering
The Holy Spirit have been talking to me a few weeks now about :
1. Devotion
2. Contentment
3. Vow
4. Change of Garment
He says that we are to love Him and devote ourself to me. Deut 6 : 5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
He says even while in the wilderness and in the valley of the shadow of death, we are not to become desperate, but devoted to Him. In desperation, many want to order their own foot steps (Psalm 37 : 23)so they begin to sin against me. They are not content, they want to create their own blessings in their own time. They have allowed blessing to lead them and not me.Tell them to turn to me because I want to fulfill the Abrahamic blessing ( Deut 28 : 1-14) in their lives .
Remind them that they are my people ( 1Peter 2 : 10 Which in time past were not a people of God : which had not obtained mercy, but have obtained mercy. The Abrahamic covenant was brought over to us the Gentiles, because of the Blood of Jesus. God made a covenant with Abraham that all nations shall be blessed in him ( Genesis 18 : 18 )
Genesis 22 : 18 And in thy seed ( Isaac ) shall all nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed.
Isaac was a carrier of the blessing, but he had to please God with his obedience, faith and giving/ sow ( Genesis 26 ) for God to fulfill His promise. Therefore we are also carriers of the blessing. But we must obey, have faith and give to receive our inheritance. .
Love me, devote yourselves to me, says God.
2 King 9 : 1-2 The Lord says that each prophet has a special assignment. HE says that He will be anointing some prophets to do His exploits. Not to fight carnally(2 Corinth 10 : 4-6), but with sword of the spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6 : 17) and whatever rhema he will give ( Ezekiel 33 The watchman;s duty). Elisha sent one of the children of the prophet to anoint Jehu as king over Israel and his assignment was to smite the house of Ahab because the Lord wanted to avenge the blood of His servant the prophets, and the blood of all the His servants by the hand of Jezebel.
The king of Judah, Ahaziah was Athaliah's son and he took counsel from his mother, who was the daughter of Omri, king of Israel who walked
in the way of the house of Ahab. She also was wicked and she was Ahaziah counselor. Therefore he did evil in the sight of the Lord like the house of Ahab. Jehu killed her son, and she avenged his death by killing the royal seed. Athaliah carries the evil spirit of Ahab and Jezebel, her spirit is to kill the royal seed. We are royalty says 1 Peter 2 : 9 But ye are a chosen nation a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people: that should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelouse light.). That spirit wants to kill and stop the seed of the children of God.( 2 Kings 8 25-29 , 2 Kings 11, 2 Chronicles 22)
Jeho- shabeath, the wife of the priest Jehoiada and the half sister of Ahaziah, stole Joash (royal seed) the son of Ahaziah, who is the grandson of Athaliah and hid him. The Priest Jehoiada raised him and he did
right in the sight of the Lord. The priest made a covenant(Vow) between him, the people and the king, that they should be the Lord's people. But when the priest died, Joash took council from the princes of Judah and turned away from God.
The Lord is saying, my people have made covenants with me and have not kept them. They were not devoted to me. Return to me says the Lord ( Jeremiah 29 : 13 And he shall seek me, and find me,when ye shall search for me with all your heart. If the priest, the man, woman of God is not around, you stop living righteous, be devoted to me, love me.
Psalms 76 : 11 Vow, and pay unto the Lord Lord your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared. ( Deut 23 : 21 )
Vow Genesis 28: 20-22 Jacob made a vow to the Lord saying If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, so that I come again to myfather's house in peace ; Then shall the Lord be my God. Isaac had Blessed Jacob, but Jacob was still struggling with self.( He was a deceiver) Just like the some of the people of God. Nevertheless he was caring the covenant blessing and God( Sovereign) was with him.
Tell my people to change their garment. Genesis 35 : 1-15) God did answer Jacob' s request and Jacob kept his vow. Tell them to put away everything not of me, stop doing things their way, stop trying to create your own blessing, you will fail. I am reaching out to you. I have blessed many of you and you did not remember the Lord thy God ( Deut 8 : 18).Remember your vows, I love you, return. He is saying to some come up higher, I want to bring the promises I have made to pass, I want to release and fulfill all the blessing (Genesis 35 : 10).
